Well, once again in Meek (ooops sorry) Great Britain – Our ‘News’ outlets have failed to deliver the truth about TESCO.
Despite being sent details of the restructure which will result in Job losses, income depreciation and unrest and unhappiness, NONE of our media chose to report on the matter.
Now we know that Tesco has an enormous commercial power, but how can that affect the BBC which is paid for by the taxpayer? Yes, all the Senior Team and Line Managers affected, will be pleased to know that the News service which they pay for, simply does not consider their threatened careers as being worthy of a mention, ITV and Sky news are also guilty of ignoring the story ! This is a continual problem with Bad news being buried by Tesco, no outrage was expressed when they began shipping jobs out to India, simply because it was ignored………

It is infuriating how little this has been reported. It made the front of our local paper back in February but since then more jobs are being moved to India. Tesco claim that people are being ‘redeployed within Tesco’ but I know several who weren’t lucky enough to find anything else and are now out of work.
The annoying thing is they continue to announce massive profits and still continue the programme of ‘offshoring’ admin type roles!..
