It made the front of our local paper back in February but since then more jobs are being moved to India. Tesco claim that people are being 'redeployed within Tesco' but I know several who weren't lucky enough to find anything else and are now out of work. The annoying thing is they continue to announce massive profits and still continue the programme of 'offshoring' admin type roles!.. It is infuriating how little this has been reported.
